In the United States, the premiere of M3GAN is scheduled for the Friday, January 6, 2022, and will be distributed by Universal Pictures. Originally, the movie was planned to come out a week later, on Friday, January 13, 2022.

For Gemma, nothing goes according to plan. Because of the strange connection she forms with M3GAN, Cady begins to develop her own morality and refuses to obey Gemma's orders. Eventually, this lifelike doll goes berserk, causing a bloodbath that nobody can stop. Will Gemma and Cady be able to escape from M3GAN? What if Gemme's invention turns against her?
