Finn Balor and The Judgment Day mocked The Rated-R Superstar and his wife, Beth Phoenix, on tonight’s RAW, fresh off their victory against Edge at WWE Extreme Rules last weekend. Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, however, returned to ruin the party for the evil stable.
Balor also sent an ultimatum to AJ Styles, urging him to accept The Prince’s invitation and join The Judgment Day. As he approached the ring, The Phenomenal One’s soundtrack was quickly heard across the arena. Styles surprised the Brooklyn and Judgment Day crowd by entering the ring and declaring that he was not there to quarrel with Finn and that he should be with his family.
Balor was pleased as Styles reminisced about their time in Japan, which prompted him to embrace the former WWE Champion. However, AJ was taken aback when he informed the former Universal Champion that he was not the subject of his remarks.
The Good Brothers were reportedly open to a WWE reunion
Karl Anderson was asked by Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated if, after working some singles matches in NJPW, the performer who notably reached the 2012 G1 Climax Finals sans Gallows would consider a solo run. Clearly, he declined.
Anderson said, “No matter what, I will always be aligned with Gallows.” “There were no intentions for a true tag team feud with anyone when we returned to New Japan.” It was this program with Tama, but it has always been clear that Luke Gallows and I are together. I have traveled with him for ten consecutive years.
I have no idea what I would do without him. I have walked him to his room, and he has walked me to mine. We look out for one another, and as humans, we have ridiculous chemistry that people want to witness. We come as a package.”
So, despite being the current holder of the NJPW NEVER Openweight Championship, Anderson’s commitment to being a Good Brother appears to have maintained his first priority. Given this, would they ever contemplate returning to WWE, the organization that fired Gallows twice and Anderson once? According to the man occasionally known as Chad 2 Badd, the combo was open to all possibilities.
The O.C. stood tall within the ring to conclude the segment. Gallows and Anderson were seen for the final time in WWE in 2020, prior to their release. The Good Brothers subsequently crossed the globe to compete in several promotions, including IMPACT Wrestling, AEW, and NJPW.
