Locke and Key Season 3 Release Date
The final season of the fantasy television series will debut on August 10, 2022, as planned. Less than a year after the second season's release, the third is already available.
The Locke & Key crew was able to do this because they started filming the third season before the second had even debuted and because a significant amount of the third season's script was written while Season 2 was being filmed. Since the seasons were shot so closely together, there won't be much of a time jump in the narrative, picking up right after the disastrous events of Season 2.
The Locke & Key Season 3 trailer, which debuted on June 6, 2022, on the official Netflix YouTube channel, gives viewers a preview of the upcoming conflicts with several demons from various eras and the appearance of the family's worst enemy. According to radiotimes, Locke and Key Season 3 is set to premiere on August 10.

Locke and Key Season 3 Cast
As the titular Locke family, it has been revealed that Jackson Robert Scott (It), Emilia Jones (Coda), Aaron Ashmore (Veronica Mars), and Darby Stanchfield (Scandal) will all return. Additionally, Laysla De Oliveira (In The Tall Grass) will make a comeback as the demonic Dodge, and Kevin Durand (Legion) will continue to play the menacing Captain Gideon.
Scot has left to pursue a career in film in England, so it's unclear if actor Petrice Jones (Step Up: High Water) will return. However, Ellie, who has just been rescued, is portrayed by Sherri Saum (Sunset Beach), and Rufus, her son, is portrayed by Coby Bird (The Good Doctor), both of whom have been confirmed as returning cast members with even bigger roles in the upcoming season.
Griffin Gluck (American Vandal), who played the enigmatic and cunning Gabe in the previous two seasons, is one of the cast members who is a fan favorite but has not been officially confirmed to return. We don't know if this version of the character will return in Season 3 because his body is missing during the crucial cliffside battle and because his true identity was exposed. Although the actress Hallea Jones (Let It Snow) hasn't been confirmed, it's likely that she will return because her character is stuck at the bottom of the well.

Locke and Key Season 3 Plot
There is a lot of anticipation for the last season of the show because the action was amplified in the second season. And based on the Season 3 trailer, viewers can expect an action-packed finale with a number of villains and plenty of story twists that are inspired by comic books.
Both physically and symbolically, Locke and Key Season 2 came to an abrupt end. The adolescent demon possessor Gabe's body was never discovered, and when his opulent new mansion fell down a cliff, everyone assumed he had died. But the Locke family should know better than to think that a single horrific incident could stop Dodge from carrying out her evil scheme when it comes to demons.
In the upcoming episode, there are more villains than Dodge causing havoc, however, some of them are utterly stuck. After lifting the echo of the possessed Captain Gideon from the well, Eden was herself flung carelessly into the pitch-black abyss.
Her character will undoubtedly return, but there are whispers that Eden may flip sides and seek vengeance with the Locke family after being tricked and used by the demons she had previously sought to help.
Most of the keys, which were given to the Locke family by Lucas' echo when he emerged unhurt from the debris at the site of the demolished cliffside mansion, are now in their control.
Bode informed his mother about the status of the demons her children have been combating using the keys. Since his key killed both the demon possessing Jackie and the body it was inhabiting, Tyler has made the decision to take some time off as he deals with his loss of her.
He still feels responsible for her death. You cannot escape your past, a voice in the Season 3 teaser declares, giving away Tyler's upcoming appearance.
