Early Years of Lil Romeo

Percy Romeo Miller was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on August 19, 1989. His stage name is Romeo, but he used to go by Lil Romeo. His parents, Master P and Sonya C were both rappers. Lil Romeo's Career in Music

Romeo's career began when he was only five years old. After writing a rap for his father, Master P, he was signed to Soulja Music Entertainment, a branch of No Limit Records. Seven years later, in 2001, he released his first album, “Lil' Romeo,” with No Limit. The lead single, “My Baby,” went to number one. The album did well, peaking at number 6 on the Billboard 200 and selling more than 200,000 copies in its first week. In the end, the RIAA gave it a Gold rating.

“Game Time,” his second studio album, came out in 2002. It reached number 33 on the Billboard 200 and number 10 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Even though it didn't do as well on the charts as his first album, it was a commercial success and sold 2.5 million copies in the US.
