His mother, Roxie Roker, was an actress best remembered for her role in “The Jeffersons,” while his father, Sy, worked as an NBC news producer. Lenny is also a second cousin of Al Roker, the popular TV weatherman. Kravitz’s mother and father were both Christians, but he wasn’t religious until he was 13 when he started going to church; he later opted to become a non-denominational Christian.
