The movie was part of a project that producer Shichi Hotta pitched to animation producer Ryoji Maru after FuRyu gave him the idea. In October 2021, it was confirmed that Yumiri Hanamori, Nao Tyama, Sayuri Hara, Aki Toyosaki, and Rie Takahashi would be reprising their voice roles from the anime TV series. Their characters will have grown up by the time the movie comes out.
What Will the Laid-back Camp Movie Be About?
The storyline of “Laid-Back Camp” is really straightforward: it follows a group of close friends as they travel across Japan, where they bond and have fun together. A relaxed time is had by all, including the main characters and the viewers, as the plot of this tale does not feature an excessive amount of exciting events.
During the second season of the anime, the Outdoor Activities Club goes on a significant excursion to the Izu Peninsula, which is located in the south of the nation.
Because it is such a lengthy excursion, the club will spend a total of three nights under the stars. Rin, who typically prefers to spend time by herself while camping, opens up more to the experience of being with the group, which enables her to get closer to the other girls in the group.
The histories of the girls and, in particular, their families are developed deeper throughout the second season. This is something that will most likely be elaborated upon in the film that is still to come.
As of right now, there has been no official summary or sneak peek given regarding the plot of the “Laid-Back Camp” movie; nonetheless, it is expected to be a continuation of the story from Season 2 in a manner that is quite similar.
The fact that the show devotes a significant amount of time to various camping pursuits and instructs viewers in fundamental skills such as how to set up a tent and build a campfire, amongst other things, is an additional perk of the franchise.
It is anticipated that the narrative will be calm, uncomplicated, and entertaining; it will be an authentic feel-good story. The entire “Laid-Back Camp” trilogy is an excellent choice for those that appreciate gentle and adorable anime in the vein of Studio Ghibli’s films.
When the long-awaited movie about “Laid-Back Camp” is released, it will be like catching up with an old friend, thinking about the fun times shared in the past, and wishing for the opportunity to create some new unforgettable experiences.
