Labyrinth is a story of 16-year-old Sarah Williams presents from a book named The Labyrinth in the recreation center with her canine Merlin yet can’t recollect the last line while being watched by a stable owl.

Acknowledging she is late to keep an eye on child relative Toby, she surges home and is defied by her stepmother Irene, who then, at that point leaves for supper with Sarah’s dad Robert. Sarah discovers Toby possessing her cherished youth teddy bear, Lancelot.

Sarah decided to face Jareth alone without the need of anyone, although at the end she added that if she need help she will call someone. In a room displayed after M. C. Escher’s Relativity, she goes up against Jareth while attempting to recover Toby.

She recounts the lines from her book that reflect her experience to that point, yet she actually can’t recall the last line. As Jareth offers Sarah her fantasies, she recollects the line, “You have no control over me!” Defeated without a moment to spare, Jareth returns Sarah and Toby home securely and turns around into the horse shelter owl, taking off.

In the end, she releases that Tody is important to her rather than anyone else, Sarah decided to give the Lancelot to him and went back into her room. As her dad and stepmother get back, she sees her companions in the mirror and concedes despite the fact that she has grown up, she actually needs them in her life every so often.

In a moment, some of the significant characters from the Labyrinth show up in her space for an unruly festival and she reunites with every last bit of her companions. As they observe, Jareth, in his owl structure, watches from outside and afterward flies into the evening glow.

The film is directed by Jim Henson and executively produced by George Lucas. although film began as cooperation among Henson and Froud following their past coordinated effort The Dark Crystal (1982).

Terry Jones of Monty Python composed the principal draft of the film’s content right on time in 1984, drawing on Froud’s portrayals for motivation. It was shot from April to September 1985 on the spot in Upper Nyack, Piermont, and Haverstraw, New York, and at Elstree Studios and West Wycombe Park in the United Kingdom.
