One to always bring in the high-octane stunts on display as seen in previous films such as Force, The Commando and Junglee, Vidyut is back with a hardcore romantic film.

Based on true incidents, the romantic-thriller has been written and directed by Faruk Kabir and true to his promise; the trailer encompasses the genre in all its entirety.

A quick walkthrough of the trailer:

Just like most Bollywood romantic thrillers, Khuda Haafiz trailer begins with a beautiful love story between Vidyut Jammwal as Sameer and Shivaleeka Oberoi as Nargis. Set in 2008 when the recession was at its peak and people were losing jobs while the business was in the dumps, Sameer and Nargis decide to move to Noman. However, Nargis who is selected first gets kidnapped in Noman.

After learning that behind his wife’s kidnapping are some very evil and powerful people, Sameer is ready to go to any extent to save her. Out for blood, the one-man army goes on a rampage to look for his wife. And he does it in the most kickass way possible. Will he be able to find her though? We’re biting our nails already! Tune in to Hotstar today to find out!

Apart from Vidyut and Shivaleeka in the lead, the film cast also includes Annu Kapoor, Shiv Pandit and Aahana Kumara.

Vidyut had expressed his excitement for the role even before the shoot began. Doing a film based on a real-life love story is surely bound to be every bit compelling and leave a long-lasting impression.

 Behind the Curtains:

The film has been shot in Morocco and Kerala. Kumar Mangat Pathak who produced super hit films such as Special 26, Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Raid and Drishyam before; dorns the producer’s hat once again for Khuda Haafiz along with Abhishek, Aditya Chowksey and Sanjeev Joshi.

Up against a new set of challenges unlike any before, we’ll see Vidyut showcase his brilliant martial artist side once again. The action is not physics-defying and The Commando actor makes it all look effortless. Battling his way through a host of new foes and with a fiery passion and determination, Vidyut proves yet once again that he is still the rebel we love and remember.

Produced by Panorama Studios, overall, it appears that Khuda Haafiz will surely entertain you with the perfect amount of romance and thriller.
