What Was Zack Snyder’s Original Plan for the Sequel?

This was going to be Green Lantern instead of Martian Manhunter, but Snyder couldn’t utilize the already-shot sequence with Wayne T Carr as John Stewart because it was already in the can. But who knows, perhaps he’ll appear in a sequel. Snyder’s initial Justice League narrative would have resembled the Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame arcs, in which our heroes were destroyed only to be resurrected for one final epic fight courtesy to time travel.

Although they are historically important members of the team, Justice League 2 may theoretically go ahead without them. Otherwise, DC would have to recast some of its leads while keeping Gadot, Momoa, and the rest, which is a perplexing concept. In any case, a new Justice League film appears to be a long way off.
