Beyond the Bar is an upcoming internationally licensed South Korean legal drama directed by Kim Jae Hong. It is scheduled to air on the South Korean cable network JTBC.
When Will Beyond the Bar Be Released on Netflix?
It has been confirmed that Beyond the Bar will be released on Netflix weekly starting August 2, 2025. The series will have 12 episodes, with two episodes released every Saturday and Sunday. The finale is expected on September 7, 2025.
Each episode will run approximately 60 minutes.

“Yun Seok Un is a partner lawyer and leader of the litigation team at Yullim Law Firm. He is a cool-headed risk-taker who pressures his opponents with creative logic. Admired by colleagues for his strong legal skills, he is difficult to approach due to his cold demeanor and lack of small talk. Kang Hyo Min is a rookie lawyer working alongside Yun Seok Un. Though socially awkward, she is righteous and confident. They clash over everything but she grows into a true lawyer.”
Who Are the Cast Members of Beyond the Bar?
The four confirmed lead actors are Lee Jin Wook, Jung Chae Yeon, Lee Hak Joo, and Jeon Hye Bin.
- Lee Jin Wook plays Yun Seok Un. He recently appeared in the second and third seasons of Squid Game as Park Gyeong-seok (No. 246). He has also starred in Netflix dramas such as Sweet Home and Doona.
- Jung Chae Yeon portrays Kang Hyo Min. She has previously starred in Netflix K-dramas like The King’s Affection and both seasons of My First First Love. Her other works include The Golden Spoon and Family by Choice.
- Lee Hak Joo plays Lee Jin U. He recently starred as a lead in the Netflix K-drama The Potato Lab. His Netflix credits also include supporting roles in My Name and Memories of the Alhambra, as well as guest appearances in Be Melodramatic and Mr. Sunshine.
- Jeon Hye Bin stars as Heo Min Jeong. Making her Netflix debut with Beyond the Bar, she has led in K-dramas such as Revolutionary Sisters, Oh My Baby, and Liver or Die.
