Jonathan Owens, Simone Biles’ husband, beams as she completes a historic Olympic run: “So Proud of You, Baby”
The athlete, who has won 11 Olympic medals to date, was honored by other Olympic luminaries.
Jonathan Owens, Simone Biles’ spouse, is exceedingly pleased with his wife’s accomplishments.
The most decorated gymnast in the annals of the United States, 27, concluded her participation in the 2024 Paris Olympics by securing her fourth medal of the Games, bringing her total to 11 medals.
“More than my wildest dreams 🥹,” the history maker captioned her latest Instagram post. In the image, the sports star posed wearing the four medals she earned at this year’s Summer Games.
“So so proud of you baby,” Owens, 29, wrote in the comment section.
While at the Paris Olympics, the Chicago Bears safety conducted an interview after head coach Matt Eberflus granted him permission to negotiate time off from the team’s mandatory training camp in order to provide for his wife.
“I’m confident in her ability. Obviously you still have to go out there and do it, but I was confident that she would,” Owens told, adding, “as the world saw, man, she didn’t disappoint.”
The NFL player expressed his gratitude for the experience.
“It was an unbelievable, once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I’m just so thankful I was able to go and just witness her continue to make history,” he said. “I’m just so proud.”
In Monday’s remark section, Gymnast Nastia Liukin, Figure Skater Michelle Kwan, and Track and Field Star Allyson Felix also supported Biles.
“QUEEN. THAT’S ALL,” Liukin responded.
“Bravo! Can’t wait for you to get more at @la28games 😉🐐,” Kwan added with a wink and goat emoji.
“So well deserved! Enjoy it all💛,” wrote Felix.
“The greatest all while displaying poise, humility, and confidence,” 2016 Olympian Madison Kocian commented.
Dominique Moceanu, a distinguished gymnast, penned the following: “SIMONE, Your Olympic journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. The realization of one’s most ambitious aspirations serves as an inspiration to all of us. CONGRATS OF THE HEART!

Biles’ victories were also celebrated in a special post on Team USA’s Instagram account on Monday.
TeamUsa posted a post on Instagram with caption: “Cemented in history.

Biles was depicted in a photo holding up one of her gold medals after a competition, with a smile on her face. The photo also included a summary of her victories, which included 7 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals.
Biles reflected on her time competing during a press conference following her events.
“I’ve accomplished way more than my wildest dreams, not just as this Olympics, but in this sport,” she said. “I can’t be mad at my performances. A couple of years ago I didn’t think I’d be back here at an Olympic game.”
She also shared what it was like returning to the Olympics after the “twisties” at the Tokyo Games in 2021.
“Competing and then walking away with four medals, I’m not mad about it,” Biles added of her comeback. “I’m pretty proud of myself, and it’s always so exciting to compete.”
