Jenny wore a stylish attire at the time, and she described crossing her legs “harder” to elude notice. I end the interview a little early, and everyone gets up but me. And all I do is sit there,” Jenny recalled. “I just sit there.”
Jenny was left on her alone, trying to figure out how to discreetly ask for assistance as the other members of the crew went on to other duties and departed. “So now that everyone has left and is engaged in something else, I’m here by myself. And I’m attempting to converse with someone. However, I was not comfortable announcing, “I got my period,” on camera. Please assist me,” she narrated.
Jenny Acknowledges She Terrified The Team
After a while, Jenny was able to convey her situation to someone. Despite being told to “get up and run,” she refused to move. “No, you’re not understanding what perimenopause is all about. This will end disastrously. “You need to move me out with the couch,” she remembered saying.
She “glided past everybody” backstage to handle the matter after a brief skirmish. Jenny reflected on the event and said that the cast and crew were shocked by her ordeal. “They were all appalled,” she said in closing.
McCarthy’s candor and bold statements, which occasionally offended as well as delighted, were hallmarks of her stay on The View from 2013 to 2014.
