Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have landed in Love City. On the evening of Thursday, July 21, the singer and actress, age 52, and Oscar-winning actor, age 49, were observed leaving Le Matignon restaurant in Paris with their children. Emme, her 14-year-old daughter, briefly appeared in the back seat of a car next to Violet, 16, who wore a face mask, and Seraphina, 13. It is unknown whether Emme's 14-year-old twin brother Max and Ben's 10-year-old son Samuel were present.
“They were with their children at the Matignon restaurant in Paris, where they stayed for almost two hours and thirty minutes on the terrace.” “Four bodyguards and three vehicles were present,” they added.
Jennifer Lopez was stunning in a red dress with a V-neck design. The long gown had a pleated skirt, keyhole back, and short sleeves for a summery feel. For the occasion, she wore her highlighted hair in an updo, enabling her bangs to frame her face. Ben strolled behind Jen as they followed their children to the chauffeured car, dressed impeccably in a tie and blazer.
It is unknown whether the newlyweds are celebrating their nuptials with a last-minute honeymoon or merely on a family holiday. Ben and Jen hitched the knot on July 16, 2022, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the famed A Little White Chapel on the strip. As witnesses, only her daughter Emme and his daughter Seraphina were present at the wedding.
In a lengthy and emotional message to her On The JLo newsletter, Jennifer described the wedding as “one we dreamed of for a very long time and one that became a reality (in the eyes of the state, Las Vegas, a pink convertible, and each other) at long last.”
The couple was notoriously engaged from 2002 to 2004, but their September 2003 wedding in Santa Barbara was canceled owing to significant public scrutiny. After nearly 17 years apart, the Gone Girl actor and “Jenny From the Block” singer astonished the world by reconciling romantically in April 2021. Ben proposed again in April 2022, this time with a $5 million green diamond ring.
“Love proves to be patient. Twenty years of patience,” Jennifer proclaimed in her letter's opening sentence. “If you stick around long enough, you might find the best moment of your life in a Las Vegas drive-through at 12:30 a.m. in the tunnel of love drive-through, with your kids and the person you'll spend your life with… “Love is a great thing, perhaps the best of everything, and it is worth the wait,” she added. According to sources, the couple is preparing a grander wedding celebration with friends and family on his Georgia estate approximately one hour outside of Savannah.
