Jenna Ortega, From Wednesday, Will Make Her SNL Hosting Debut?
Rising Hollywood starlet Jenna Ortega had a successful 2022 in terms of the projects she took on. She appeared in films such as “Scream,” “X,” and “Studio 666,” and for her television work, she collaborated with streaming behemoth Netflix.
Not only did she continue to play Brooklynn on the animated series “Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous,” but she also starred in the record-breaking series “Wednesday.”
Ortega Will Take the Stage at Studio 8h in March
Variety reported on February 16, 2023, that Jenna Ortega will soon perform on the Studio 8H stage as part of “Saturday Night Live.” On March 11, she will headline the legendary comedy series for the first time alongside musical guest 1975.
The performance will coincide with the March 10 release of her upcoming picture, “Scream 6,” in theatres worldwide. About 1975, this will be the band’s second appearance on “SNL,” having previously served as Larry David’s musical guest in 2016.
Woody Harrelson will host the show for the fifth time on February 25 to promote his current film, “Champions,” directed by Bobby Farrelly. Jack White, who will be making his fourth solo “SNL” appearance, will be his musical guest.

After Harrelson, two-time Super Bowl champion and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce will host for the first time on March 4. He will be accompanied by musical guest Kelsea Ballerini, marking her debut as a musical guest.
Even while many would say that “Saturday Night Live” in 2023 is a long cry from what it was decades before, hosting the show is still a tremendous accomplishment. Undoubtedly Jenna Ortega will make the most of this opportunity.
SNL Hosting Debuts for Jenna Ortega and Travis Kelce
Travis Kelce will not accompany Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes to Disneyland. Instead, the Super Bowl-winning tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs will host NBC’s Saturday Night Live in New York.
Kelce, whose Kansas City Chiefs defeated his brother Jason’s Philadelphia Eagles in a close Super Bowl matchup, reportedly desired to headline SNL. He tweeted in September 2022, “SNL?!? In response to cast member Heidi Gardner’s desire for him or Mahomes to host, “Would be a dream!”
Kelce will make his hosting debut with the episode airing on March 4, 2023. Kelsea Ballerini makes her debut as a musical guest on SNL. On March 6, Ballerini will embark on the North American leg of her “Heartfirst” tour. Her “Rolling Up the Welcome Mat” EP was just released, and she will begin the tour on the same day.
Wednesday star Jenna Ortega will serve as the episode’s host for the first time on March 11. Wednesday was recently renewed for a second season by Netflix, and Ortega’s Scream VI premieres in theatres on March 10.
1975 will join Ortega as a musical guest, marking the band’s second appearance on the SNL stage. Touring in support of their album Being Funny in a Foreign Language, 1975 are presented on the road.
Woody Harrelson will host the February 25 episode of Saturday Night Live, with Jack White serving as a musical guest. It will be Harrelson’s seventh time serving as host, and White’s fourth solo performance.
