The show started with a girl named Jane Gloriana Villanueva. She is a very hard-working, religious girl. In the story, Jane wanted to be a virgin until she gets married. But a doctor mistakenly artificially inserted into Jane’s vagina during a normal checkup and after this incident, she got pregnant but still, she is a virgin.
And what makes it worst is that the biological father of her child is a married man and the owner of the hotel where Jane works, who is also her old teenage crush. Jane is facing so many problems in society as they ask so many questions about her pregnancy.
She is also confused about choosing the father of her child or detective boyfriend. Her issues are slowly disappearing when her child turns into a toddler, her career moves forward.

The most recent seasons come out with an average rating of just 0.22 points with 18-49 demographic reviews and only 623,000 viewers. The viewership is in the declining ratio of 8% in contrast with the former four seasons.

The critical responses of this show, the first season received a lot of attention and praises and Review aggregator and Rotten Tomatoes gives the season of the show ”certified fresh” rating. The ratings are 100% based on the 51 reviews and the average rating is 7.7 out of 10.
The critics praised the diverse writing and wonderful performance by Gins Rodriguez. Another review from Metacritic gives the show a rating of 80 out of 100 based on 23 reviews.
