The novel, authored by Shinichiro Kimura, was released by Fujimi shobo on January 20, 2009. The book was originally composed of eight volumes. In 2010, the novel was originally released as a manga in the well-known monthly magazine Dragon Age. Later, “Funimation” aired a 12-episode anime television series based on the manga. The series debuted on Saitama television in 2011.

Recap of Previous Seasons of Is this a Zombie
Apologies for the loss of AYUMU AIKAWA, a sophomore of 16 years old, at the hands of a serial killer. However, he eventually awakens to find a mysterious girl standing close. She claims to be a necromancer and to have resurrected Ayumu as a zombie in order to use her black magic on him.
As soon as he regained consciousness, he went out to exact revenge on the person responsible for his death. During one of his investigations, he encounters Haruna, a supernatural young woman carrying a chainsaw in a local cemetery.
After killing the beast, she engaged in a battle with it. This time, Haruna attempted to delete Ayumu’s memories, but Ayumu took over her skills and now protects people from animals. There is an abundance of action, suspense, and mystery in the first season.
In season 2, it is revealed that the zombie ayumu has abruptly awoke in the company of three intriguing girls, one of whom had a deep contempt for the zombie ayumu, another of whom was a silent necromancer, and the third of whom was an energetic and outgoing lady named “masou shoju.”
Later in the series, Aymu desired to learn why he died so young and who his murderer was. As he searches for solutions to these dilemmas, he becomes entangled in even graver problems. In the second season, there is less action but more humour.
Is this a Zombie Season 3 Plot?
Ayumu Aikawa, a high school student who is murdered by a serial murderer, is the protagonist of the novel. Ayumu is astonished to awaken next to an odd female named Eucliwood Hellscythe. She then discloses that she is a necromancer and that she has transformed Ayumu into a zombie.
With a second chance at life, Ayumu pursues his murderer. One day, while investigating a cemetery, he meets Haruna, a Masou-Shoujo, who transforms him into a magical female by accident. Thus begins Ayumu’s mission to find his murderer as a zombie, while also fighting Megalo’s bizarre creatures as a magical girl.
