“Mickey and Konrad have captured an authentic, fresh angle on workplace culture from the bottom up and presented a complex look at navigating life in your early twenties–replete with thrills, failures, and victories,” said administrative vice president of HBO programming Francesca Orsi in a statement.
“It’s exciting to see fans embrace these young graduates, and we join them in anticipation of what’s in store for season two.”
Now coming to the dates… No one knows what’s going to happen at this point, and however, it appears that production is increasing. Season 2 read-through copies of the first two episodes were tweeted out by co-creator Konrad Kay on June 29, 2021, along with a “Management Offsite” shirt in the background. In a perfect world, the next season would begin in late 2021, but this appears to be more likely.

Industry Season 2- Expected Storyline!
The first Season of Industry was all about “RIF (Reduction in Force) Day,” but there was always a sense that it was setting up storylines that would go beyond that. Everyone was safe from removal. Harper has a bright future at the company, even in her darkest moments.
The superior members of the company are likely to be the subject of a second season of the show. According to co-creator Konrad Kay, “Their relationships with the senior figures only become deeper in the second season, so you get more of a sense of that stuff.”
According to an interview with Awards Daily, the show’s producers are also hoping to make some of the banking material a little more understandable to viewers without financial backgrounds, saying that they think the show might be more enjoyable with “more intelligible banking storylines.”
For the first season, “But as Mickey says, we’re trying to do a better job of giving the audience more to hang on to episode to episode,” said Kay. Moreover, we’re trying to give the audience a better experience with each episode, as Mickey says, we’re still working on it.
Is it possible that the show will be renewed for a third season? To a large extent, success is determined by how long viewers can keep their attention. During an interview with GQ, Down stated that he and Kay would like to continue the show for multiple seasons.
“The idea of doing a version of the show which goes on for a long time is one that we’d love to do,” he said. “But it’s not up to us. You’ll have to wait and see.”
Who Is Going To Be Back In The Industry Season 2?
Eric’s wife Candice (Alexandra Moen) was mentioned in an interview with Vulture by Ken Leung, a clear fan favorite from Season 1.
“She’s even more powerful than he is in her world,” said Leung. “So they’re like this crazy power couple that, like, who knows? [Laughs.] Anything could be happening to them. Hopefully, we’ll see more about that.”
We could hope to see the old characters to be back on our screens, so what about reviewing them all?
