Atlanta, Georgia, was the primary filming location for Season 1, with production beginning in February 2020 but halted the following month due to the ongoing epidemic of COVID-19 (via Bleeding Cool).

Season 2 of Heels Spoilers Ahead!

Heads turn to the Duffy Wrestling League, a small independent wrestling promotion situated in Duffy, Georgia.

It’s the story of two brothers fighting over the future of their father’s promotion and the legacy he left behind. The show’s central conflict is around the two brothers, Jack Spade (Stephen Amell) and Ace (Alexander Ludwig), who are at odds about the direction of their father’s promotion and the enduring legacy he left behind.

The two brothers are also prominent in the business.

Even though everything in the championship match went wrong, Crystal Tyler (Kelli Berglund) was crowned champion in season one of the Heels, and as a result, Jack and Ace were at their ugliest.

Only when she discovered that he had killed his brother did Staci (Alison Luff) come to see him as something of a “heel” in real life.

Ace could leave the promotion, which would be a significant setback for the corporation. Thus the second season will focus on the brothers’ reconciliation and Jack’s efforts to preserve his wife from being murdered.
