A new Mrs. American has been crowned!
Hannah Neeleman, who was previously known as Ballerina Farm online, gave up her title in 2023 after Mrs. Washington, Heidi Stephens, was declared the new victor on Tuesday, Aug. 27.
Mrs. Colorado was the first runner-up, while Mrs. Utah was the second runner-up.
“As Mrs American, I am filled with gratitude and joy to have been able to be a part of this journey,” Neeleman said in a pre-recorded segment as she walked the stage as Mrs. American one final time.
“What a year it has been. I am deeply and forever grateful for the unwavering support of my husband Daniel and our children, Henry, Charles, George, Francis, Lois, Martha, Mabel and Flora,” she added. “Your love and encouragement has been my greatest strength.”
Neeleman embraced her successor before presenting Stephens with the crown at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino.
In preparation for the pageant, Neeleman maintained communication with her 10 million Instagram followers by documenting her voyage to Las Vegas for the competition.
The Juilliard-trained dancer, entrepreneur, and mother of eight departed from her family’s working farm in Utah to crown her successor, despite the fact that she had the support of her mother, sister, and children during the pageant.
Neeleman, who was 20 weeks pregnant with her daughter Flora Jo at the time of her victory, had previously shared her reflections on her experience competing in the Mrs. American pageant on Instagram.
“A night I will never forget. ✨🥹🫶🏼,” she wrote alongside the post. “This year has flown by. Heading to Las Vegas next week to crown my successor! I was 20 weeks pregnant with miss Flora Jo during this pageant♥️” she continued.
Neeleman was observed in the video wearing a variety of sophisticated attire during the competition, such as a royal blue one-piece bathing suit with a plunging neckline, a sequin mini dress with a tasseled skirt, and a glittering ball gown with a halter neckline.
In January 2024, Neeleman participated in the Mrs. World pageant, a mere twelve days after giving birth to her daughter. “I do not believe there is any shame in revealing that I have recently given birth, as many of us have children,” she stated.
Since the publication of an in-depth profile on her by The Sunday Times in the United Kingdom in July 2024, the Utah influencer has been making headlines. The article elaborated on the intricacies of her life as a traditional domestic and content creator.
Neeleman, who has amassed more than 17 million followers on Instagram and TikTok combined, achieved significant social media recognition through her posts featuring her agrarian lifestyle on a Utah property, where she lives with her husband, Daniel Neeleman, and their eight children.
