It’s so fun and healthy and satisfying and that’s no small thing. We feel very fortunate and that’s another thing — we all really love going to work and we’d like to keep going to work.”

GLOW – Favorite Dialogue
- What I’m interested in are real parts, not secretaries telling powerful men their wives are on line two.
- Things don’t just happen. People make choices. They want things, and then they go for them.
- I’ve worn this, or some version of this, every day for the past five years. It’s not a costume. Just me. And what I do in the morning… what I put on, what I wear, it’s not for you. It’s… it is for me.
- Well, that’s the problem. That’s middle-of-the-road shit. It’s safe. You see, me? I like to push the envelope. I like to jolt people into consciousness.
- Alfred Hitchcock and his wife? Alma, you know, the woman behind the man who is as important as the man and really helps the man be great while also getting the job done.
- Yeah, if you wanna do something more than nod and eat a salad and make a pretty cry-face, you’re punished.
- Now, here you are. You’re ripe. Fecund. A custodian of new life. You’re a… you’re a fertile harvest goddess. Now… pull your shoulders back, and, and strut like you own the ring.
GLOW – People’s Opinion
The Audience rating summary of GLOW is 4.6 and people enjoyed watching this series. However the number of people voted are only in hundreds which isn’t a good sign for a show.
Let’s watch the feedback of the show.
“Every episode is written beautifully. The show-runners have captured my heart and I love each character dearly. I always love shows that deal with female friendships. At first, I was reminded of Orange Is the New Black, but this one is far better. All the women in this series have been empowering to each other, helping one another along their own unique life paths outside of work. I sat on the couch in silence for a good 5 minutes. I appreciate the raw sexuality and racial identity themes explored. 10/10 “
“Honestly too crude to sit there and not cringe or be honestly disgusted. Plot line is fine, nothing spectacular, character development could have been better or at least more present. “
“Its was not that good , its ok. The first and second season was good but the third was so boring. “
“What a great ensemble show about a group of women who have been pieced together to create a Woman’s Wrestling team.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT… and fingers crossed for a movie to wrap up the story that got cut short due to Covid. The fourth season was ordered and had begin filming when the first wave of Covid hit. Sigh. The first three seasons never got boring and definitely never went stale. In fact, it kept getting better as each season progressed. ”
The GLOW is a NETFLIX series which is based on women and their life. The show focuses on some of the social issues which are faced by everyone around such as racial discrimination and sexual discrimination.
