Gibi (As If), winner of the prize for best Turkish series of the year, will release a new episode this week. The sitcom follows two, and later three, friends as they face some of the most ludicrous challenges imaginable.
Life typically presents us with a variety of challenges, but for Yilmaz, Ilkkan, and Ersoy, every minor obstacle leads to something much larger and funnier. Gibi has a style of humor that few people understand and appreciate.
It is comparable to the American sitcoms The Office and Seinfeld. The show is directed by Omer Sinir, who is also responsible for Ara and Firilak Ailes. This series premiered in January 2021 on Turkish television.
It initially received little notice, but as additional episodes were aired, Gibi became a hit with local viewers, with some predicting that a global premiere of this series would be a huge success.

In prior episodes of Gibi, the trio is depicted doing what they do best: creating the worst possible solutions to simple issues. This episode included Esra for the first time in a while, to the joy of fans.
While in the cafe, the friends discussed a variety of topics and were joined by different characters throughout the show. Yilmaz, Ilkkan, and Ersoy confront a dilemma as well.
They discuss how the zodiac signs Taurus and Gemini have either caustic or unstable personalities. They recall their football traumas and ask profound questions about humans in general, which alters their outlook on their entire life. One question from Yilmaz is all it takes to send the gang down a rabbit hole.
The Storyline and Cast of Gibi Season 3
This season, we’ll be joined by all three primary characters. The original focus of the show was on Yilmaz and Ilkkan, a pair who never got along well but remained constant companions. Although they may not appear to be the best of friends, they share a relationship that is frequently humorous and wholesome.
Later, they are joined by Ersoy, a mutual friend who is the ideal addition to the already crazy duo. Feyyaz Yigit portrays Yilmaz, while Kivanc Kilinc plays the character of Ilkkan. Ersoy, the third friend, is portrayed by Ahmet Kursat Ocalan.
In addition to Ezgi Ay (Esra), Umran Sakir (Umran), Ozer Arslan (Magistra Maximus), and Celal Ozturk, the cast also includes Ezgi Ay (Esra), Umran Sakir (Umran), and Ozer Arslan (Magistra Maximus). Most people believe that Esra’s character was included owing to a lack of women on the show, however, this is not the case, as her presence often makes the show more caustic and humorous.
