Early Life
Floyd Mayweather was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on February 24, 1977. Floyd Mayweather Sr. was also a professional boxer, and he is best known for fighting Sugar Ray Leonard. Jeff and Roger, who are Floyd Jr.’s uncles, also used to be professional boxers. Floyd Sr. and Roger have both helped train Floyd at different times.
