The film had its international premiere on March 17 at the 35th BFI Flare: London LGBTQ+ Film Festival, and it is scheduled to be distributed in UK theatres on April 16.

Viewers may recognise Tom Prior from The Theory of Everything and Kingsman as the film's titular character, as well as Skyfall actor Nicholas Woodeson, who also appears in the film. The film also stars Ukrainian actor Oleg Zagorodnii, Russian actress Diana Pozharskaya, and Estonian actor The film had its international premiere at the 35th BFI Flare: London LGBTIQ+ Film Festival on 17 March 2021, screening as part of the Hearts section.
