The tenth instalment of the Fast & Furious franchise, dubbed Fast X, will conclude the exploits of Dominic Torreto played by Vin Diesel. Although not much is known about the film just yet, we do have some information to give about the eagerly awaited action blockbuster.

Fast and Furious 9 Ending Explained

In Fast & Furious 9, Dom (Vin Diesel) and his family are back to save the world once more, but this time the danger is closer to home.

The previously unknown Toretto sibling, Jakob Toretto (John Cena), is after Project Aries, a weapon that Cipher (Charlize Theron), who might be aiding Jakob in his quest, claims is “so lethal it shouldn’t exist for another half-century.”

It serves as a prelude to yet another round of outlandish antics, in which the show also travels into outer space. Can Dom and his team save the day, and if not, where has Jakob been hiding out for the past few years?

Expected Release Date of Fast and Furious 10

Currently set for release on May 19, 2023, the first Fast and Furious 10 instalment. It also appears fairly likely that the film will only be released in theatres, but this hasn’t been formally confirmed yet.

It makes sense that, barring a really severe event, we’ll be watching the new movie in cinemas since the previous movie, F9, had one of the most lucrative theatrical runs of the pandemic era.

Cast and Characters of Fast and Furious 10

Vin Diesel‘s Dom is undoubtedly back, joined by many other well-known characters, especially after Fast & Furious 9 ended without any fatalities.

Sung Kang as Han, who unexpectedly made a comeback alongside Michelle Rodriguez as Letty, Tyrese Gibson as Roman, Ludacris as Tej, Jordana Brewster as Mia, Charlize Theron as the villain Cipher, and Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey, expanded the family even further.

Diesel added that Mia, who was originally missing from the script, was actually brought back by his daughter.

The main cast members, such as Lucas Black as Sean Boswell, Bow Wow as Twinkie, Jason Tobin as Earl Hu, and Shea Whigham as Agent Stasiak, are likely to play cameo roles and minor characters throughout the entire series.

The Reacher actor Alan Ritchson will also participate in the fun in an unspecified role, but Rita Morena’s casting as Dom’s grandma may be the most intriguing (and surprising) development. Yes, that is actually taking place.

The ninth film also stars Brie Larson from Captain Marvel and Daniela Melchior from The Suicide Squad. Although their roles haven’t been made official, rumors suggest that Melchior will portray a different long-lost relative of Dom.

The Plot: What We Can Expect From Fast and Furious 10?

There isn’t much we can speculate about for the two-part Fast & Furious 9 finale because everything is wrapped up quite nicely by the end of the film.

A few questions remain unanswered, such if Mr. Nobody is still alive and what Jakob will do next, but they seem more like side stories than significant preludes to the saga’s future.

The credits sequence, in which Han visits Shaw and, understandably, surprises him to see him, serves as the movie’s one major tease. Will Shaw let things go in the past since he unintentionally assisted Han in protecting Project Aries? Or maybe Shaw will become evil once more as a result of Han’s unexpected homecoming.

We can reasonably predict that the two-part finale will have Dom (and his familia) attempting to save the planet once more while simultaneously coping with a threat to his own family.

Could there be more unanticipated resurrections from the grave, like Dom’s father or Gisele played by Gal Gadot? In this universe, nothing can be ruled out, but you can probably discount the possibility of a laid-back conclusion in which they simply relax.

And who knows, maybe we’ll even get to witness Queenie kiss Dom—at least if Helen Mirren has anything to do with it. “Oh my God, of course I would! But only if he chats to me before and after, because, quite honestly, that’s the voice that I really get off on.”

Is There Any Official Trailer of Fast and Furious 10?

We could be waiting until nearer the end of the year to see new footage. Back when F9 was set for a June 2020 release, the first trailer was released in January 2020, so a similar timeline would put the first Fast & Furious 10 trailer around November 2022.
