Facebook Co-founder Mark Zuckerberg and Wife Priscilla Chan Are Expecting Another Baby Girl
The third child for Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan is on the way. The Facebook co-founder shared the important news on Instagram on Wednesday along with a cute picture. As stated by Mark in his announcement post, Priscilla and Mark, who already have two daughters named Max and August, are prepared to welcome a third daughter.
Sharing a picture of himself with his hand resting on his wife Priscilla‘s growing kid, Mark Zuckerberg wrote in the caption, “Love to you all. I’m excited to announce that Max and August will have a new baby sister in 2019!”

Maxima Chan Zuckerberg and August Chan Zuckerberg, the couple’s kids, were born in 2015 and 2017, respectively. In response to the good news, Randi Zuckerberg, Mark’s sister, commented on his Instagram post, stating, “Yay!!!!!! Serious family of girl strength! I’m really excited to meet her! Mazel Tov!”
Priscilla Chan and Zuckerberg announced that they will soon be welcoming a new friend into their hearts and home. Zuckerberg was all about love as he disclosed the gender of his unborn child while posting the photo online.
The 37-year-old philanthropist and tech entrepreneur are already parents to children Max, 6, and August, 5. The couple started dating while they were Harvard University students and got married in 2012.
They first connected at a fraternity party at Harvard University in 2003, and they became engaged almost eight years later. A year later, in May, the couple was married. Mark has already spoken on how he raises his girls to be grounded despite the family’s wealth and has been transparent about his family life.
The business magnate added, “We don’t give them everything, to start with. So, in my opinion, that’s a crucial component.” He also noted how they are assigned chores and given responsibility around the family. His wife, Priscilla, also stated how they bring their children along when they go to work so that they can demonstrate what they do and how they contribute.
