Plot of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

This is the sixteenth version of The Legend of Zelda game series. The story of the game is based on a legend. According to the legend, there are three ancient borders that have a great wish-granting power which is known as the triforce. The greatest being the Demon King demise, he has conquered the time itself now he wants to conquer the triforce.

Presently, Link the main character of this game passes his final exam despite the interference by his class enemy Groose. He considers himself as a romantic anime for Link’s childhood friend Zelda. As the story passes Zelda and Link go together on the land known as Skyloft where Link takes the sword showing himself that he is the greatest Hero and finally destroys demise.

After killing the demise it opens a way through the clouds of Darkness to the surface which was once known to be a myth. The way leads the people towards the Sealed Temple where they meet an old woman who tells Link to track Zelta. To find her, Link needs to cross the region of Faron Woods, Eldin Volcano, and the Lanayru Desert.

After he finds Zelda he tries not to return to Skyloft by impa, the young lady guiding and guarding Zelda. There is another woman who considered himself the greatest. Link tries to save Zelda and impa from him.

At last, he founds Zelda and the triforce too. They both work together and kill the demise forever!

Among the Best of IGN’s 2011 Awards  it was awarded “Best Game”,”Best Graphics”, “Best Sound”  and “Best Story” in the Wii category This game was nominated for the “Game of the Year Award” and also “Best Action-Adventure” and “Best Wii Exclusive”,

The game sold approximately 1,95,000 units from its Japanese debut.The game that reached the top of her sales chart saw a sharp decline in her big sales and was out of the top in a matter of weeks.

 By the end of December, it had sold less than 320,000 units and this was less than par sales for other recent home console and portable Zelda games.
