Eromanga Sensei, the production of A-1 pictures, is a romantic-comedy anime Tv series. It is based on Tsukasa Fushimi’s light novel series having an identical title. The story spins around the protagonist Masamune Izumi, a teenage girl, following her passion for writing the light novel series.
It made its debut in the Dengeki Bunko imprint in December 2013 and still a long way to go. Rin adapted it as manga series that started its serialization in Dengeki Daioh and ran for volumes.
Later A-1 pictures adapted it as anime series premiered on 9 April 2017.
It ended in June 2017, and the fans are waiting for the second installment since then.
The Release Date of Eromanga Sensei Season 2. When Will It Air?
The first season came to an end in June 2017. More than two years have passed without a word from the creators regarding renewal for the series. Apprehensions are growing among the fans, whether they ever get season 2 of the series. However, the creators have shown the ray of hope by releasing the two OVA episodes on January 16, 2019. Maybe they are thinking of the sequel. The series performed well and generated lots of revenue. Not only that, but it also increased the sales of manga and novel series. But what about source material.
Is There Enough Source Material Available?
The series is grounded on the light novel series. The novel has 12 volumes so far. A-1 picture house used only three volumes of it to produce season 1. So nine volumes are still left to make not only season 2 but also season.
With high revenue and availability of source material, the A-1 pictures will make the sequel soon. Our best guesses are that we will see somewhere in 2022.
The Plot of Eromanga Sensei. What to Expect From Eromanga Sensei Season 3?
The story focuses on the teenage boy Masamune Izumi. He is a proficient author of novels. Though he is a great writer, he does not know how to illustrate it. An anonymous partner illustrates his novels under the pseudonym Eromanga.
Masamune is also taking care of his younger step-sister Sagiri Izumi. She is the loner by nature and always stucks in her room. As the story progress, he finds out that his anonymous partner is none other than his sister Sagiri. From time onwards, they start developing a special bond with each other. Later new females authors come in contact with Masamune and fall in love with him. Masamune proposed to Sagiri to marry him, but she turns it down as she is only 13.
In season 2, we will likely see what will happen to the relationship between Masamune and Sagiri? Will they end up marrying?

Though the series did not score well, it has a massive fan following. The characters are light-headed and funny, and the artwork is spectacular. The story is entertaining. However, the soul of any anime is the storyline. According to the critics, the plot advancement is slow and quiet. The story is too vague, and the content is objectional to society.
