The fictional Jules (Kat Dennings) and Cat Lady have returned. In Season 1 of Hulu’s Dollface, Jules’ five-year girlfriend abruptly broke up with her, leading her to resume the female relationships she had abandoned while they were together. In Season 2, she and her friends understand that as they approach 30 and move on from a global pandemic, they must sort out their romantic and professional life.
While Hulu swiftly renewed the comedy for a second season, the streaming service has not yet said whether Dollface will return for a third season. Given that the show is based on the life of Jordan Weiss, it follows that she has ample material to mine for future seasons.
She wrote the script as a writing sample while working as an assistant, and it was picked up by Margot Robbie’s production firm, Luckychap Entertainment when a friend smuggled it to an I, Tonya producer. Weiss told Variety in 2019: “I was in a relationship in college and struggled to put myself out there as much as I could with my friends.” Coming out of that phase, experiencing a breakup similar to the one shown in the show, and realizing that I wanted to devote more time to my girlfriends, is where the idea originated.
When Will we Expect the Release of Dollface Season 3?
The second season of Dollface premiered on Hulu on February 11, 2022, with ten episodes published simultaneously. Each episode ranges from 22 to 32 minutes in length.
Here is all we currently know about the third season of the show. Neither Hulu nor the cast and crew have made any public statements regarding the future of the show. Therefore, perhaps we should wait a bit longer for official confirmation.
The anticipated Cast for Dollface Season 3
In addition to Dennings (WandaVision), Dollface stars Brenda Song (The Suite Life of Zack and Cody), Shay Mitchell (Pretty Little Liars), and Esther Povitsky (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), who are all anticipated to return for Season 3 if it is produced. As Song explained to ScreenRant, Season 2 delves beyond Jules to explore how each of the ladies is coping with aging during a pandemic, a thread that could continue into future seasons.
“Season 2 is entertaining since all of the females enter this element,” Song explained. It’s exciting to observe Stella, Izzy, and Madison interacting with Julius in this universe. Instead of Jules being anxious, all the females are anxious.

The Plot for Dollface Season 3
If the show returns for a third season, we will learn how Jules is doing on a personal and professional level. Due to a difficult employment scenario, she is currently in limbo. If Ruby and Stella continue to conduct business together, things may not go as smoothly as expected, even if they have agreed to end their relationship. Izzy’s life also seems to be taking an intriguing turn. Consequently, it will be fascinating to see what transpires between her and Madison.
At the conclusion of Season 2, Jules submitted her resignation to Celeste, who was surprisingly pleased. Jules is desperate to “leave” when she realizes that her new position is no longer accessible. On the other side, her unconscious told her not to surrender her goals and to continue working. Personally, both Jules and Fender are thriving.
Ruby and Stella converse, but their relationship remains strained due to their respective career endeavors. Izzy and Liam reunite, on the other hand. In addition, it seems that Izzy has the potential to become a new support pillar for Celeste. Madison’s birthday is celebrated in the season’s final moments.
