Doctor Strange 3: What Suspense They Left in Second Part?

With only a few days left until the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the MCU sequel already appears to be a financial success. A second solo outing for Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange has taken six years to come six years after his debut in Doctor Strange in 2016.

In that time, he has appeared four times more in Thor Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Spider-Man: No Way Home as well as in the comics. Having appeared in six movies in as many years, Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange is now the face of the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Robert Downey, Jr.'s Iron Man left the MCU.

If there are compelling stories to tell, the iconic British actor has stated that he has no intention of slowing down with the job. What's next for Doctor Strange now that the Multiverse's mysteries have finally been revealed? Cumberbatch, for one, seemed to be equally enthused and interested by the question.

Dr. Strange is played by Benedict Cumberbatch. Marvel Benedict Cumberbatch, who plays Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, has reaffirmed his enthusiasm and dedication to the MCU. On Extra TV, Cumberbatch said he believes the Multiverse blockbuster would put him up “for a really interesting future” in the MCU, which was then relayed on Twitter by @DrStrangeUpdate.

In the end, I think it sets up Strange for a really exciting future, and I can't wait to see what the fan reaction is to this and where it takes him.” Doctor Strange star Benedict Cumberbatch reaffirmed his dedication to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in an interview with Total Film, which was tweeted again by @DrStrangeUpdate.

Even though I've been playing this character for a while, I still feel like I have a lot to give him, and a lot more experiences I want to have with him.

Doctor Strange 3: What Can We Expect?

Warning: The remainder of this page contains information that will give away plot details for the upcoming film Doctor Strange: The Multiverse of Madness. There were plenty of significant narrative elements resolved by the end of Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness's two hours, but there were a few loose ends that tease the inevitable third installment.

A third eye appeared on Doctor Strange's forehead after he was able to control the corpse of his alternate self utilizing the Darkhold. In addition, Charlize Theron made her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in the film's mid-credits scene as Clea, Dormammu's sorcerer niece, and Doctor Strange's love interest.

As he walked down the street, the future wife of the good doctor snuck up and snatched him away through a portal to remedy the invasion he had created. So, it is evident that the Multiverse will continue to play a role in Doctor Strange 3. It's still unclear how Strange managed to provoke an invasion on his mission to save the Multiverse, but the answers should comprise the plot of the third installment, whenever that may be.

Dr. Strange 3 is expected to feature several of the characters from the Multiverse of Madness, including Sorcerer Supreme Wong and America Chavez, who are studying at Kamar-Taj. Although Scarlet Witch Elizabeth Olsen's character definitely won't be a part of the third chapter, given that the former Avenger was recently killed in the devastation of Mount Wundagore in the second chapter.

As for the future of director Sam Raimi, he has only been effusive in the praise of his MCU debut, so a return remains a possibility. Scott Derrickson, the director of Doctor Strange, has already said he's open to returning to the Marvel universe, even if Raimi isn't interested in doing so.

With the success of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness at the box office, it's safe to say that the third film in the trilogy is already being discussed. In Marvel Studios' next big slate reveal, which might take place at San Diego Comic-Con or D23, an announcement should be made

A Possible Release Date for Doctor Strange 3: What Is the Release Date of Doctor Strange 3?

Doctor Strange: The Multiverse of Madness is still playing at the box office while there is no sign of another feature in the approaching slate. This means that all bets are off on the outcome of this one.
The fact that Disney is planning ten years' worth of movies, including Doctor Strange 3, means it's almost certain to appear in the plan. We'd like to think so.

Who Are the Cast Members of Doctor Strange 3?

Without Benedict Cumberbatch's Steven Strange, there would be no Doctor Strange 3. Three solo outings are the norm for most Marvel stars before they retire. Only Thor's Chris Hemsworth has made it to four films. A threequel would be incomplete without Sorcerer Supreme Wong, and given how frequently he appears in earlier MCU films, we have a feeling Wong will be around for a long time to come as well.

The saga of Wanda, alias Scarlet Witch, as played by Elizabeth Olsen, seems to be coming to an end in Doctor Strange. Despite this, Marvel's universe has opened up a whole new world of possibilities for the company. Rachel McAdams' Christine Palmer character might easily make a return.

As America Chavez, Xochitl Gomez could possibly appear in the third installment of Doctor Strange. The fact that she hasn't been confirmed for a Young Avengers movie doesn't mean she can't appear in future films, especially since we haven't heard anything about that yet.

Don't read any more if you haven't seen the movie yet, because there are spoilers ahead. Charlize Theron plays Clea, Strange's love interest and eventual wife in the comics, in the mid-credits scene. As a result of his pranks in the multiverse, she's asking him for help in dealing with an intrusion he's caused.

So, yes, Charlize Theron will be back in the threequel and possibly in other projects as well (if it happens, of course). Whoever you want to see from the rest of the ever-expanding list of MCU characters! Even the departed are included! There are so many possibilities in the multiverse! Please pray for us.

There are no hints as to who will return behind the scenes. The first film was directed by Scott Derrickson, and the sequel was going to be directed by him as well, but Sam Raimi stepped in midway through the production to take over.
