Did Lady Gaga Get Plastic Surgery? Did She Admit to Getting Such a Treatment?
Lady Gaga’s looks are as renowned as her songs. Early in her career, you would see far more of her clothing and much less of her face. There have been a lot of close-ups of the singer’s bare face now that all of the accessories have been removed. And that’s encouraged Lady Gaga’s plastic surgery rumours.
But when you compare her before and after photos, you can’t help but see the minute yet obvious differences. But were those alterations the result of any covert plastic surgery, or was the singer truly just born this way? Let’s investigate.
You don’t have to know much about music from the 2000s to know who Lady Gaga is. A Star Is Born and House of Gucci has gotten her a lot of praise, and the Academy, BAFTAs, and Golden Globes have all nominated her for awards.
Lady Gaga was born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta on March 28, 1986. She is half Italian, or an “Italian from New York,” as she likes to say. Queen’s song “Radio Ga Ga” is said to have given Lady Gaga her later stage name.
Her big break didn’t come until she released the album “The Fame.” Just Dance, Poker Face, Paparazzi, and LoveGame were all huge hits when they came out as singles. The next album was 2009’s The Fame Monster, which was also a big hit.
In between tours and putting out albums like Born This Way and Artpop, she appeared in movies like Machete Kills and Sin City 2 until she got the lead role in A Star Is Born. For now, she is working on the sequel to Joker, which will come out in 2024.
Has Lady Gaga Undergone Plastic Surgery?
Actually, no. Gaga has acknowledged receiving injectables, which aren’t precisely cosmetic surgery. They involve no incisions and no surgery. Hence, Lady Gaga has not undergone plastic surgery. Yet, she most likely underwent a number of cosmetic procedures throughout time.
They most likely involve both Botox and fillers. And each of them might very well be able to explain why her face changed. But in this case, you need also be aware that Gaga’s weight has changed over time. So, some of the alterations may also be a result of it.
Aside from that, she has also undergone significant changes in her cosmetics, attire, and hairstyles. She had bangs early in her career, which made her nose appear rather pronounced. It got less so when she changed her haircut.
What Lady Gaga Said About Getting Plastic Surgery?
The artist felt pressured to have surgery since she was about to hit big in the music business. Gaga stated, “Before my first single ever came out, it was suggested I undergo a nose job, but I responded, ‘No.'” in 2018 while promoting A Star Is Born. My Italian nose is wonderful. If someone wanted me to look like a sexpot, I would look the opposite, she continued angrily.
Gaga has had her hair in every conceivable colour and length combination over the course of her career. However, she admitted in a 2011 interview that she had never undergone surgery to change her body.
The “Poker Face” singer admitted to Harper’s Bazaar in 2011 that she had never undergone plastic surgery. I believe that encouraging insecurity through plastic surgery is incomparably more detrimental than an artistic expression including physical modification, she continued.
Gaga has said that there was a time when receiving face injections was something she was “very obsessed” with. In a 2013 interview with Howard Stern, she admitted, “I’m telling you, I wasn’t exactly in the best frame of mind, and I would smoke a bunch of joints, have a few drinks, and then I’d be like, ‘Oh, let’s go see my girl,’ and we’d drive to this strip mall, where I’d get shot up with a bunch of whatever, Juvederm, and then leave.
She eventually came to her senses when a worried friend warned her that the habit was becoming addictive. “Gaga, I love you, but if you don’t stop injecting s—t in your face, I’m going to just murder you,” said a photographer buddy.
