Deerskin is a comedy horror movie which is written and directed by Quentin Dupieux. The main actors of this movie are Jean Dujardin and Adèle Haenel .

The film was released on 15 May 2019 at the Cannes Film Festival in the Directors’ Fortnight section.

Jean Dujardin is a newly divorced person amidst a midlife personality emergency. Looking for another life and look, he discards his past in a side-of-the-road gas station and experiences a vintage, bordered deerskin coat with compelling heavenly powers.

He moves to a calm French high town where he is confused with a free movie producer by a bold, venturesome barkeep in a tired cantina (Adèle Haenel, PORTRAIT OF A LADY ON FIRE) who turns out to be a hopeful supervisor with normal creation impulses.

The two fashion a dubious devotion and collaborate to team up on a film propelled by the visionary deerskin coat.

The film is one of the most horrifying fashion films ever made after The Devil Wears Prada. It is also holding the corner of comedy which can be seen in different scenes of the film.

88% rating was given by Rotten Tomatoes, IMDb’s rating is 6.7 out of 10. The critics from the rotten tomatoes said about this movie

Deerskin Storyline

The story revolves around the main character of the movie is Georges who is a 44-year-old man, he leaves his hometown and keeps himself alone in a mountain village. He bought €7,500 worth of dream jacket made up of Deerskin. Georges lives in a hotel room, and he went to a bar and meets Denise, the waitress, and a client.

The next day, Georges finds that his account has been blocked by his wife. That time he becomes obsessed with the Deerskin jacket, wonders in his head that he is the only person who owns a jacket.

George’s dream increases: he finishes his outfit with a deerskin cap that he finds on the cadaver of the inn secretary after his self-destruction, then, at that point by shoes, while storing up the coats that he winds up covering. One evening, a bystander will not give him his coat on account of the cold, and Georges kills him to get the coat.

He got to know that his jacket has bloodstains and Denise will consider him to be a killer, however, she puts stock in the eventual outcome and is energetic. Georges will then, at that point track down every one of the individuals who didn’t give him a coat and kill them with a roof fan cutting edge that he sharpened.
