Cynthia Bailey and ex-Mike Hill have transitioned from #CHill to cordial ex-relationships. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member opened out about her and Mike's choice to divorce after less than two years of marriage, admitting that they remain cordial despite the split.
“I believe the most important aspect of any marriage is friendship, and Mike and I are still extremely close friends,” Cynthia told in an exclusive interview at BravoCon 2022. “There is still love between us, but we have decided to move forward separately. We had a great deal going on.”

The star of Bravo said, “We've both been married multiple times; in fact, this is my second marriage, and we've always agreed that if we ever thought that our marriage wasn't working, we would just have the talk and go on. Because I do not wish to get married for the sake of being married. I desire happiness and tranquility, and he desires the same. I believe we would be better off as friends.”
The couple jointly announced their nuptials on October 12. “Although we will always love each other, we have decided to go our separate ways,” the couple wrote on Instagram. We are thankful for our continued friendship and will always treasure the numerous experiences we've shared as husband and wife.

They stated, “Many of you have been on this road with us from the very beginning, and we are grateful for the wonderful support of our family, friends, and devoted fans as we move forward and begin new chapters.”
In reference to Cynthia's exes, the actress addressed her ex-husband Peter Thomas's appearance on The Real Housewives of Potomac after RHOP's Gizelle Bryant dismissed allegations of a romantic relationship between her and Peter.
Cynthia told “Peter is a businessman, so of course, he would make it [on RHOP].” “Since he has a link to the Bravo family and owns a magnificent restaurant in the area, it would make sense for Bravo to film there. I adore it! I have pride in him.”
