If you love to watch creepy things in animated forms then I am sure you must be aware of the Coraline and waiting for the Coraline 2, isn’t it?
Coraline is adapted from a novel series written by Neil Gaiman of the same name. The story is some kind of mix like you are gonna see horror with some cute faces. One thing I love about this drama is the storyline. What about talking about the storyline first and then we could pick the rest question?

The story of a young girl( eleven years old). The little used to live with her parent Mel and Charlie. Her parents are writers that’s why they have to move from one place to another. One day they moved into an old mansion which is named Pink Palace Placements.
Coraline felt ignored by her parents because of their busy schedules. One day Coraline was wondering and she met Wimborne Lovat with his black cat. At the time of leaving Wybie to give a doll to Coraline. Later on, she finds out a small opening in their living room which could be open by a button-shape key.
The story is quite impressive when we talk about horror in it. The ratings are good too like the Rotten Tomatoes have given this 90% on the other hand 80% from the Metacritic.

What About The Releasing Status of Coraline 2?
We could hope for the second slice only when Gaiman wants it too. Talking about Gaiman’s work he hasn’t written something that would give a follow-up to his novel. Considering this in mind maybe the creators are running with a lack of ideas.
Gaiman was busy in the recent period of time because he is working on some new projects like American God and Good Omens. This might be the possible reason for Neil not writing up the second bit.

In a Twitter post, he shows his concern and said-
“He would work only if he thought of a better idea than the original book”
His statement gives a ray of hope that there might be season 2 of Coraline but at this point in time, we could not say something more about the release. When we get the latest news regarding Coraline 2, we would update the relevant one in the same post.
