Colton Underwood: The First Gay Man in the History of ‘The Bachelor’

Colton Underwood was a contestant on Season 14 of the Bachelorette. He was then taken up as the lead in Season 23 of the Bachelor. Although, he is the only lead in the history of the show who came out as gay. It was rather shocking. Underwood was a former professional football player before he joined TV.

On the Bachelor Season 23, Colton did find Cassie Randolph but the relationship ended even before reaching the two-year benchmark.

Later, the 29-year-old footballer made a docuseries called Coming out Colton in order to show people the struggle Colton Underwood went through and the process of accepting his real self.

He has now bought a house with his partner, Jordan Brown. The house is in California in the Sherman Oaks area of Los Angeles. This house was bought in the beginning of January, 2022 and was bought for 3.185 million.

It is a four bedroom house with all the luxuries and amenities that most celebrities desire in their house.

Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph broke up in 2020 and within several months, he came out as Gay. The man later went on and decided to make a  documentary about it with Netflix which didn’t perform that well.
