Cobra Kai Season 5 is finally on Netflix, which means that Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence are about to start a new and exciting chapter in their lives. Chozen Toguchi, the villain in Karate Kid 2 who became a hero, joins them in their plan to get rid of Terry Silver (Yuji Okumuto).
Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso have finally figured out how to end their decades-long feud: they need to work together against someone else. Terry Silver and his growing group of crazy Cobra Kai dojo members were a good enemy to fight, but there was no one better.
Now that they have found a balance between their yin and yang ways of living, it seems like they are actually learning from each other. But now what? Is there going to be a sixth season, or did the story end with season five?

When Cobra Kai Season 6 Will Come Out?
The sixth season of Cobra Kai was announced on January 20, 2023. However, we don’t know when it will come out yet.
The good news is that showrunner Jon Hurwitz is already thinking about ideas for season 6. He told a fan on Twitter that Season 6 hadn’t been written yet. Will work on that after filming Obliterated, but I already have a lot of great ideas!”
The last couple of seasons have come out faster than usual, and Cobra Kai even filmed two seasons back-to-back. If a season 6 is ordered, however, we can probably expect a longer break than we’ve seen so far.

Since Cobra Kai usually comes out in January or September, the earliest we can probably expect a new season of the show is September 2023 or, more likely, January 2024.
Who Will Be in the Cast of Cobra Kai Season 6?
If Cobra Kai gets a sixth season, it seems likely that most of the main characters, if not all of them, will be back. Terry Silver was taken to jail at the end of season 5, but we don’t think he’ll be there for long. Or, as they did with Kreese, they may show what his life is like in jail.

What Will Happen in Cobra Kai Season 6?
Again, Cobra Kai hasn’t been picked up for a sixth season yet, so it’s hard to say for sure what the plot would be, but season 5 gave us a lot to work with.
Cobra Kai gave up their shady dojo and threw their gis at Silver at the end of season 5, but Miyagi Do/Eagle Fang/Miyagi Fang still seems to be going strong as they take their karate to the Sekai Taikai international championships.
Johnny (William Zabka) and Daniel (Ralph Macchio) got closer as friends when they didn’t have to compete with each other’s dojos. However, the stress of the Sekai Taikai could make them fight again. Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) is in jail, but John Kresse (Martin Kove), the other founder of Cobra Kai, has gotten out of jail after faking his own death with some red jelly.
Robbie and Miguel in Cobra Kai season 6: Silver may have been defeated, but Kreese will want revenge when he (inevitably) goes back to the Valley. This is especially true since Daniel and Johnny tricked him into telling them secrets about Silver.

Then there’s his relationship with Tory, which got worse after she became his mole and paid a high price for it. Even though Tory (Peyton List) and Samantha (Mary Mouser) have made a temporary peace deal, it’s not clear how long that will last. Other Cobra Kai kids, like Kenny (Dallas Dupree Young), may also have a long way to go to get rid of the anger that their senseis taught them.
While the kids are focused on the Sekai Taikai, Johnny will probably keep getting ready for his child with Carmen (Vanessa Rubio), who will be the half-brother of both Miguel (Xolo Mariduea) and Robbie (Tanner Buchanan). We might also find out what happened after Chozen (Yuji Don Okumoto) called Kumiko (Tamlyn Tomita) while he was drunk to tell her he loved her.
If there was no Cobra Kai dojo, season 6 would look very different, but it would still have plenty of drama.
