What is the Storyline of Cirkus Movie?
While researching the nature vs. nurture debate in 1944, Dr. Roy Jamnadas found a set of identical twins abandoned at his orphanage. He adopted out both sets of children to families in different cities. A couple in Ooty and another in Bangalore get the twins, and both families travel with them and share the same middle names, Roy and Joy.
Their father owns a circus, and when he dies, Roy and Joy are left with the task of running it. The second Roy and second Joy come from a very wealthy industrialist family. Electrical currents have no effect on Roy, who seems to share some sort of odd bond with electricity.
After that time skip of 30 years, the plot resumes. Roy is opposed to Mala adopting a kid from the Jamnadas Orphanage, even though Mala is unable to have biological children of her own. Even though Roy is madly in love with Bindu, she has to deal with her father's scepticism because he saw Roy with Mala in Ooty and assumed it was Roy, leading him to believe that Roywas cheating on his daughter.
When Roy and his companions run into Mala, they mistake her for the gang's leader because he believes they are all members of a massive criminal gang out to rob them. The situation gets more complicated when Roy intends to give Mala a diamond necklace as a gift but the jeweller ends up giving it to Roy.
After some time, five orphan boys named Gopal, Lakshman1, Lakshman 2, Lucky, and Lucky arrive at the orphanage, alluding to the events before Golmaal Again. The film was panned for having a weak screenplay and an unsteady plot.
