On June 21, 1979, Chris Pratt was born in Virginia, Minnesota. He is the son of Kathleen and Daniel Pratt, the couple's youngest child. When he was seven years old, he and his family relocated to Lake Stevens, Washington. At Lake Stevens High School, he competed on the wrestling team and finished fifth in the state tournament. In 1997, he received his high school diploma. What he wanted to accomplish with his life when asked by his wrestling coach: “I don't know, but I know that I will be famous and will make a lot of money,” Pratt said.
After enrolling in a community college, Pratt withdrew after just one semester and never returned. In Maui, Hawaii, he found work as a bargain ticket seller and as a dancer before becoming homeless. He camped on the sand in a van and a tent to save money. Pratt served as a missionary for the Christian organization Jews for Jesus while in Maui. While working at a seafood restaurant in Hawaii, he was “discovered.”
As a server in Maui, Pratt served customers at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company. Rae Dawn Chong “found” him and cast him in her short horror film, “Cursed Part 3,” her directorial debut. The WB series “Everwood” was Pratt's first regular acting gig. Pratt joined the cast of “The O.C.” in its fourth season after that was canceled. “Strangers with Candy,” “Moneyball,” “The Five-Year Engagement,” and “Zero Dark Thirty” are just a few of the many roles that Pratt has acted in on the big screen and the small.

On the set of “Take Me Home Tonight,” Chris Pratt and Anna Faris got to know one other quite well in 2007. In late 2008, they became engaged. They tied the knot in Bali on July 9, 2009. The Property Market
$3.3 million was spent on a Hollywood Hills home by Pratt and Faris in 2014. Founder and CEO of Live Nation, Michael Rapino, sold the company. They put the house on the market for $4.995 million in 2018. Turret entry, vaulted wood-beamed ceilings, and arched doorways adorn the 4,700-square-foot residence. The den, which features a speakeasy-style wet bar, is decorated with oak paneling. The main suite has a steam room and a spa-like bathroom. In total, the home has four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms.
They ultimately found a buyer for $4.75 million in September 2020.
For $15.6 million, Chris purchased a 10,000-square-foot house in the Pacific Palisades region of Los Angeles in 2018.
