Chase Cominsky, an American professional fisherman from Hermitage, was recently charged with stuffing their fish with weights to make them heavier during a competition as seen in a viral video shared on Twitter and other social media platforms. Runyan and Cominsky Were Disqualified
After one of the competitors in the Fall Brawl fishing competition in 2021 failed a polygraph test, Cominsky and Runyan were disqualified from the competition. They forfeited the top prize of $100,000 due to their disqualification.
In order to win opulent fishing boats in the Fall Brawl and Walleye Slam fishing tournaments in 2021 as well as tens of thousands of dollars in walleye competitions, Cominsky and Runyan had been cheating on numerous occasions.

The two had stuffed their walleye with the enormous 12-ounce egg sinkers filled with filleted walleye flesh. Due to threats from the audience, Fischer asked Runyan to leave, while Cominsky had already locked himself in his truck in the parking lot.
New competition winners were chosen after Cominsky and Runyan were disqualified. Since the team has already won, it is uncertain how the issue will be resolved, as it was last year.
There may be a sizable sum of money on the line if the organizers of earlier events file a lawsuit.
Possible charges for the alleged cheaters Chase and Cominsky include “stealing by fraud.”
Although the reason for the walleye’s slicing by the Lake Erie Walleye Tournament organizer is unknown, Cominsky and Runyan had previously been suspected of dishonesty.
Gale-force winds reduced the two-day tournament to just Saturday, and Steve Tyszko and Chris French were named the Ohio State Big Water Walleye Champions.
