Carnival Row Season 2 Release Exclusively on Amazon Prime
Carnival Row Season 2 will most likely be released after The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. So, at the very least, it can be expected in November 2022.
Carnival Row is an Amazon Prime Video fantasy series. The show is set in a Victorian-era dystopian historical society. The show is set in a universe where mythical humanoids and humans coexist in the same city. They escaped their war-torn countries and are now refugees in this city. This creates social problems for them, just as it would for any group of culturally different individuals living in close quarters.
Release Date for Carnival Row Season 2
The first season was released 17 months after it was completed. If the second season follows the same timeline, it will be released in the fourth quarter of 2022. Although the filming is finished, there is still a lot of CGI work to be done, which will most likely take months to complete. There is also no word on whether the series’ episodes will be released weekly or all at once.
The Cast of Carnival Row Season 2
Jamie Harris, who plays Sergeant Dombey, has been promoted to regular status for the second season. He is a harsh cop who despises the expanding invasion of faeries in the neo-Victorian city.
Season 1 showrunners Travis Beacham and Marc Guggenheim have both left the program owing to artistic differences, and Erik Oleson has taken over as season 2 showrunner.
Season 2 will feature newcomers Alice Krige, Maeve Dermody, and Ariyon Bakare, as well as Jamie Harris, Waj Ali, and James Beaumont.
The majority of the Carnival Row season 1 cast members are likely to return for the second season:
- Orlando Bloom in the role of Rycroft Philostrate.
- Cara Delevingne in the role of Vignette Stonemoss.
- Jamie Harris in the role of Sergeant Dombey.
- Simon McBurney in the role of Runyon Millworthy.
- David Gyasi in the role of Agreus Astrayon.
- Tamzin Merchant in the role of Imogen Spurnrose.
- Andrew Gower in the role of Ezra Spurnrose.

What Can We Expect From Carnival Row Season 2?
The storyline for the second season has not yet been announced, but based on how the first season ended, we can expect to learn more about segregation. The government issued an order to separate “magical” creatures from normal people in the series’ final episode of the first season. When Philo understands that this is the end of his relationship with Vignette, he declares that he, too, is a fae and decides to join her in the ghetto.
Agreus and Imogen, on the other hand, sailed away to a safer location; however, when the authorities ordered their ship to return, they refused. Tamzin Merchant, who played Imogen, foreshadowed what’s to come for her character, saying in an interview that Argeus and Imogen getting on the ship in the closing episode of season 1 will be great for the first 5 minutes of season 2.
All things considered, it can be assumed that the couple will choose a more adventurous road while confronted with problems, and their plot may finally blend with the vignette and Philo’s. Season 2 will reveal if fae and humans will end up at odds or if will they be able to coexist. We’ll simply have to wait and see if Philo and Vignette get to spend time together.
