Cameron Mathison Reveals Separation from Wife Vanessa Just Days After Their 22nd Wedding Anniversary

For Cameron Mathison of General Hospital and his spouse, Vanessa Mathison, it’s concluded. On Wednesday, July 31, the former couple posted a separation announcement on Instagram.

The statement on Instagram said, “After 22 years of marriage, we have made the difficult decision to part ways.” We have a great deal of respect, kindness, and love for one another as we start this new chapter. We are deeply appreciative of the fantastic years we had together.

They included three pictures of themselves posing together with their statement, which said, “Our children have been and will continue to be our highest priority and we will forever share in our devotion and love for them.”

Only a few days had passed since their 22nd wedding anniversary when they made the announcement.

They are parents to two kids together. In April 2003, Lucas, their son, was born. Leila, their daughter, was born in July of 2006.

The connection between 54-year-old Cameron and Vanessa began when they were both models and initially crossed paths in the late 1990s. They had not stopped by the early 2000s. The model and the star of All My Children got married in July 2002.

Just a few hours prior to declaring their breakup, Cameron uploaded a “summer photo dump” on Instagram that included images of his children. He captioned the photo with, “Last few weeks before I’m an official empty nester.” The father of two celebrated Leila’s high school graduation earlier this summer and shared pictures from the momentous occasion on Instagram.

“Leila graduates from high school, closing one chapter and starting a new one. You have achieved this point thanks to your perseverance, enthusiasm, and dedication, and for that I am incredibly proud. I’m always in awe of you. “I love you so much,” he said as the post’s caption. “Let’s toast to all the adventures ahead next up, Paris.”

In the months leading up to Leila’s graduation, Cameron talked candidly about becoming an empty nester and his stunning breakup with Vanessa.

In May, he said to People, “It’s tough,” adding that his son had “already been to college.”

“I’m going to have an empty nest soon. The TV celebrity continued, “My daughter is leaving, and my kids are older.

Cameron declared, “It’s the best thing in the world.” However, I don’t believe I’m ready yet. You believe you are, after all. “Oh, it’s going to be awesome,” you think, “but I’m going to miss them.”

After taking his kids on a journey around Arizona, Cameron revealed further details about the upcoming chapters of their lives in an Instagram post on July 13. One individual asked, “Where is the wife these days?,” after noticing that Vanessa was absent from every picture in the series. on Cameron’s post, “Hardly see any post of all them doing things together… low key separated?”

“Magical trip through AZ so far with my two loves,” he wrote as the page’s caption for the collection of images. Lucas is leaving for London this autumn to enrol in Central Saint Martin’s Foundation Program in fashion design. Leila is off to study psychology at American University in Paris. Every second is really valuable.
