Britney Spears Discloses Her’secret Love’ and That She Almost Fled During Her Conservatorship.

Britney Spears disclosed in a shocking audio clip uploaded to YouTube on Sunday that she had a “secret romance” during her 13-year conservatorship and nearly departed the United States with an unidentified man.

“A guy I was chatting to wanted to just leave the country with me,” the 40-year-old pop diva revealed in the now-deleted video. It was a secret romance, and we had everything set up to just leave.

Spears revealed that she had told her assistant onstage at one of her Las Vegas residency shows about the hush-hush romance.

The “Overprotected” singer reportedly told a former employee that her greatest concern was “what would my father do if I did anything wrong? What if they discovered me? How would they behave?

Spears stated that she feared if she actually fled, “they would lock me up or really hurt me.”

Then she remembered the assistant saying, “Are you kidding me, Britney? Your father would never do such a thing.”

However, the “Crossroads” actress claimed her assistant was proven wrong when she was allegedly put against her will into a mental health institution in early 2019.

Throughout the 22-minute video, Spears revealed additional details about the claimed abuse she suffered at the hands of her father, Jamie Spears, his co-conservators, and the therapists at the treatment center, but she did not discuss her hidden relationship.

While Britney was under conservatorship from 2008 until 2021, however, there were other publicized partnerships.

From 2010 through 2013, the “Stronger” singer dated talent agent Jason Trawick. They were engaged for a time, and he was appointed co-conservator. However, their relationship ended after three years because they “grew apart.”

Britney subsequently dated David Lucado from 2013 to 2014 and Charlie Ebersol in 2015 and 2016.

During her conservatorship, the Grammy winner’s longest and most prominent relationship was with her now-husband, Sam Asghari.

The duo met in October 2016 while Britney was filming the music video for “Slumber Party” and got engaged in September 2021 after six years together – two months before Britney was finally free.

Britney revealed in a shocking June 2021 court hearing the extent to which her conservators had hampered her and Asghari’s future ambitions.

The “Hold Me Closer” singer stated at the time, “I have an IUD in my body that prevents me from getting pregnant, and my conservators won’t let me go to the doctor to remove it.” “I feel surrounded. I am victimized and I feel alienated and alone.”

Britney and Asghari, both 28, married the knot in a fairytale ceremony at her former house in California seven months after the conservatorship was terminated in November 2021.
