Caroline Dries created Batwoman, an American superhero television series for The CW. It is part of the Arrowverse universe and is based on the DC Comics character of the same name. The first season features Kate Kane, Bruce Wayne's cousin who takes on the role of Batwoman while he is away. In the second and third seasons, former criminal Ryan Wilder takes on the guise of Batwoman to safeguard Gotham City.

The following year, Ruby Rose was cast as Kate, and Batwoman was ordered to series in 2019. Rose left the show shortly after the first season ended, and Javicia Leslie was cast as Ryan, a unique character developed to take Kate's place.
The first season of the show debuted on October 6, 2019, and ended on May 17, 2020, with 20 episodes. On January 17, 2021, the second season premiered, and on October 13, 2021, the third season premiered. After three seasons, the show was cancelled in April 2022.

She wrote on Twitter that there would not be the fourth season of Batwoman. She also said that she was glad that 51 episodes of the DC show were being honored. She also said thank you to the talented people who worked on the series.
Even though season 3 of Batwoman ended with a few cliffhangers and a storyline that would be revealed in the future, the creators have confirmed that the show is over.

What Is the Plot of the Last Season of Batwoman?

Batwoman is left to deal with Marquis when Poison Ivy is vanquished and relocated to Coryana with Renee. While the Joker acid he was intended to disseminate over Gotham City bursts over a barren region of the area, Batwoman uses the Joker's joy buzzer to restore Marquis to normalcy.
