An American Television drama which is specially made for the popular Tv channel Cinemax. The show began airing on 11 January 2013 and till now, the show is entertaining the people. Banshee was created by Jonathan Tropper and David Schikler. The show involves popular stars like Antony Starr, Ivana Milicevic, Ulrich Thomsen, and many more.

Till now, there have been 4 seasons of this show released with a total of 38 episodes in all of them. The show starts with the main protagonist of this show named Lucas Hood who is popularly known for his killer history. He is actually a murderer of his place and hides his criminal actions from the powerful boss of the crime world, Rabbit.

As the show moves forward, there are a lot of things that take place in order to make the story interesting and it does. Season four was premiered on 20 May 2016 with 8 episodes. The series ended with a satisfying note, leaving no story to extend ahead. After some time, there was an official announcement by the broadcasting channel that season 4 was the end of the show. In the announcement, Cinemax said that season 4 will be the finale and the series will not move forward for the next seasons.

Adding more to this statement, Jonathan Tropper, the co-creator and executive producer said, “Banshee has been an incredible ride, and we continue to break new ground in season four. While we certainly considered returning for a fifth season, I always said that when the story was told, it would be time to move on, and that time has come. I am grateful to Cinemax for making Banshee the great success it has been and for supporting our creative decision to wrap things up.”

With this statement, you can easily conclude that Banshee officially ended in season 4 and there will be no season 5 for this series.

Banshee 5 – Are there any possibilities?

Through a statement, it was quite clear that the creators have played their respective roles in the series. They have officially ended the show with a proper ending. Also, the fans are happy that the series ended on a good note without leaving on a cliffhanger. Not every series needs to end on multiple seasons and the audience is happy that the show ends after four seasons.

If you are thinking that the series will return for season 5 ever then pal I am sorry. This isn’t going to happen at all.
