Are ‘Love is Blind Season 2’ Couple Nick and Danielle Still Together or Split?

Nick and Danielle hitched the knot during the second season of the popular Netflix reality dating show Love are Blind. It has been a couple of years since their wedding. Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones were the only other contestants to make it down the aisle during the second season.

Are Nick and Danielle Still Together?

Nick and Danielle are no longer a couple. They did marry in June 2021, after the conclusion of the second season of Love is Blind, but their marriage lasted less than a year before dissolving.

According to TMZ, Danielle filed for divorce in Cook County Circuit Court in Illinois in August 2022. Even more disappointing is learning that the couple had grand plans to reschedule their wedding day so Danielle could have a proper bachelorette party and they could do things in a more conventional manner. A few weeks ago, in an interview with Us Weekly, the couple expressed their desire to have children in the near future.

According to reports, the two are no longer on speaking terms after taking jabs at each other via social media. Nick and Danielle are not the only couples to split up in August 2022; Iyanna and Jarette, the other couple from season 2, also announced their breakup.

Who is Nick Thompson?

Since August 2021, Nick has served as vice president of product marketing at Mediafly. Prior to that, he was employed at Tacton for two years.

Beginning as the director of product marketing, he was later elevated to vice president of product marketing and then vice president of marketing.

In addition to being a senior band marketing manager at Zoro US, he previously had positions at CDW and PCNation. 2010 saw his graduation from Full Sail University with a bachelor’s degree in business.

In 2008, he also earned an associate of arts in business administration and management from Harper College, where he was the editor-in-chief of the Harbinger campus newspaper.

Who is Danielle Ruhl?

2015 marked Danielle’s graduation from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. She was also an intern in marketing at Clover Technologies Group.

Danielle’s hometown is Ottawa, Illinois, and she was a member of the American Advertising Federation and the Alpha Phi sorority, according to an interview on the website of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

In the interview, she discussed how her social media internship at the time benefited her professional development. “Working with social media enables users to interact with coworkers, communicate with clients, and produce advertisements.

I aspire to work in the creative sector one day, and this job gave me the chance to practice. In addition, I am now confident producing and presenting presentations to coworkers and clients, as she stated.

What Happened on the Show?

They became involved really quickly. At the conclusion of the first episode. Danielle stated in a confessional, “I’m ready to marry him tomorrow.” “I will not allow anything to interfere with this.”

Despite their bond, their experience on the show was less than perfect. During a trip to Mexico, the couple’s first argument occurred when Nick attended the cast party while Danielle was sick.
