Explanation of Ant-Man 3 Ending and Post-Credit Scenes!
They eventually land near Kang’s damaged Quantum engine. Scott answers Kang’s taunting by stating, “I don’t need to win, they both have to lose,” before hurling a number of Pym particles at Kang’s vehicle. This results in an excess of Quantum energy that progressively reduces Kang to nothingness. Scott then steps through the portal, reuniting the family.
While he picks up a cake for Cassie’s birthday, we cut to Scott having yet another internal monologue about his bizarre existence. He considers if he actually defeated Kang or if he somehow doomed the universe, but decides instead to have a family meal.
What Kind of Ending Does Ant-Man 3 Have?
The conclusion of Ant-Man 3 is a crazy one. Scott and Kang, who have been seriously injured by Hank’s superintelligent ants, will fight for the Quantum Realm in the final battle of the conflict.
Janet Van Dyne is able to open a portal through which Scott, Cassie, Hank, and Hope can escape, but Kang interrupts them. Scott and Hope are attacking him from behind. Hope succeeds, but Scott has a more difficult time. He and Kang exchange blow and demean one another.

What Happened in the Ant-Man 3 Post-Credits Scene?
The mid-credits scene of Ant-Man 3 makes it apparent that the Kang crisis is far from resolved. Three Kang variations discuss Kang of Conqueror’s demise in the main MCU timeline. Then, as they leave the universe, they show a courtyard filled with versions entering.
This is the Council of Kangs, comprised of travelers from across the multiverse. Their union appropriately sets up Marvel’s Phase 5 and the battle between Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and the Kang Dynasty.
The post-credits sequence of Ant-Man is a bit closer to home. In 1901, Kang took the stage as a scientist demonstrating a new device, with Loki and Mobius in the audience. Mobius turns to Loki, perplexed that this is the individual they want.
Loki verifies that it is he, the most dangerous being in the multiverse, followed by the traditional Marvel stinger: “Kang will return.” Certainly, he will, and it will be an exciting journey.

Marvel’s Avengers 5: Kang Dynasty is Inspired by Quantum Leaps
The Council of Kings sets up Avengers: The Kang Dynasty most blatantly. The end-credits scene of Quantum Mania establishes the Council of Kangs as the primary nemesis of the fifth Avengers film, despite the fact that Marvel Studios has not announced the film’s narrative.
Ant-Man was able to kill Kang the Conqueror with the assistance of the Wasp, indicating that individual MCU heroes might possibly destroy a single Kang variant with assistance, but that all of Kang’s varieties combined are incredibly potent. Their unification within the Council of Kangs makes them a danger worthy of the Avenger’s reassembling.
Explanation of the Victor Timely and Loki Season 2 Setup
The second post-credits scene of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania introduces Victor Timely, the fourth Kang variation. On a stage in what appears to be the early 1900s, he is introduced and gives a presentation on time.
In the comics, Victor Timely is a businessman and inventor who founds and names a town in Wisconsin after himself. This form of Kang becomes the town’s mayor, but he uses the technical advances he brought from the future to set the framework for his future conquests. Unfortunately, Victor Timely is also Prime Kang in disguise.
