Anne Heche is an actor, writer, director, and producer from the United States. Anne Heche was born Anne Celeste Heche in Aurora, Ohio on May 25, 1969. She grew up with her mother Nancy, father Donald, and older siblings Nathan, Abigail, and Susan; her sister Cynthia died at two months of age due to a heart problem.

Anne's 45-year-old father died of AIDS in March 1983. Heche has claimed that her father raped and infected her with genital herpes from the time she was an infant until she was 12 years old. Three months after Donald's passing, Anne lost her 18-year-old brother Nathan, who allegedly fell asleep while driving and crashed into a tree.
Heche attended Francis W. Parker School after relocating to Chicago with his family. Anne auditioned for the soap opera “As the World Turns” at the age of 16 when an agent noticed her in a school play. Although Heche was offered the position, her mother insisted that she complete high school first.
