Attorneys for Angelina Jolie Attempted to Summon Brad Pitt to Testify at the SAG Awards.

They allegedly dispatched a man to confront the “Fight Club” actor with the documents at the 2022 SAG Awards in February, and insiders believe they likely would have attempted again at the Oscars, but Brad Pitt‘s attorneys called off the hunt before Hollywood’s most prestigious night.

It is a legal requirement for someone to respond to a court summons, according to sources, who hoped Pitt would attend the SAG Awards as a previous winner (for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role in “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” in 2020), despite not being nominated this year. Unfortunately, he did not.

Pitt, 58, has asserted that Jolie was not permitted to sell her shares without affording him the right of refusal, and they are now at odds about whether she is permitted to demand the requested documentation.
