In an interview with Variety, Micheal Patrick King confirmed that the production of the second season will begin in October 2022. If all goes well and on time, the second season will stream around the summer of 2023.

The setting of the program will be New York. That's oblivious. King addressed the challenges he faced during the production of the first season. Further in the interview, he told, “The big miracle is that we got the show on the air before anyone knew that Mr. Big died. I mean, that’s Herculean.”

He quoted he went totally serious about keeping it hidden. He made Noth appear at his own funeral. He made fake eulogies for performances in front of the extras.

It was when the actors of the show intervened that King went a step back.
