The Plot of A Man in Full
A Man in Full is an adaption of Tom Wolfe’s bestselling novel of the same name from 1998. The scene is Atlanta, Georgia, a multiracial, late-20th-century boomtown brimming with new money and shrewd politicians. The protagonist is Charles Croker, a former collegiate football hero who is now the king of a late-middle-aged Atlanta conglomerate and whose inflated ego has finally collided with reality.
Charlie possesses a 29,000-acre quail-hunting plantation, a young and demanding second wife, and a half-empty office complex with an enormous amount of debt. Conrad Hensley, a young, idealistic father of two, is laid off from his job at the Croker Global Foods warehouse in Oakland and spirals into the depths of the American justice system.
