Review of Spy X Family

Spy X Family is an anime suitable for action, slice-of-life, and drama enthusiasts alike. There is something for everybody. Spy X Family lacks the broad world-building of One Piece, but the scenario strongly mimics Cold War Germany. Although this is not explicitly mentioned, we do catch a glimpse of Loid in a station named Berlint.

Spy X Family features a tiny yet diverse ensemble, with each character having their own personality, goals, and backstories. The first season of the anime concentrates on Loid, Anya, and Yor getting to know one another and enduring many mishaps to conceal their identities.

Animation Review of the Anime

Amazing animation is seen in Spy X Family. There is hardly any usage of poor CGI. Everything is animated with precision and attention. Studio WIT and Cloverworks are collaborating on the production of the anime.

While Studio WIT is best recognised for its work on Attack On Titan seasons 1, 2, and 3, Cloverworks is best renowned for its work on romantic anime such as Horimiya, Bunny Girl Senpai, and the newly popular My Dress-up Darling.

Both animation companies have done an outstanding job animating Spy X Family. Fortunately, the second season of Spy X Family has already been announced and will premiere in late 2023. With any luck, Studio WIT and Cloverworks will continue to provide a high-quality Spy X Family adaptation.
